Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how TaskStreak ("the App", "we", "us"), operated by Morhover, handles information when you use our iOS application. By using TaskStreak, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Data you create (stored on your device)

Tasks, habits, due dates, notes, streak history, and app settings are stored locally on your device and in a shared app group used by the TaskStreak widgets and extensions. This information is not transmitted to us and is not associated with any account.

Data collected automatically by third parties

To keep the App free, TaskStreak displays advertising provided by Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect information such as your device advertising identifier (IDFA), device and diagnostic information, and product-interaction data for the purpose of serving and measuring ads. If you allow tracking, this data may be used for personalized advertising.

App Tracking Transparency

On first launch, iOS asks whether you allow the App to track you across apps and websites. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track," we and our advertising partner will not use the IDFA to track you, and you'll see less-personalized ads. You can change this anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide core functionality — showing your tasks, habits, streaks, reminders, and widgets.
• To display advertising that helps keep the App free.
• To process optional subscriptions through Apple.
• To maintain and improve the App's reliability and performance.

3. Advertising

Advertising is provided by Google AdMob. Google's handling of data collected through its SDK is governed by Google's own privacy policies:

You can opt out of personalized advertising via your device's tracking settings as described above.

4. Subscriptions & Purchases

TaskStreak offers an optional TaskStreak Pro subscription (auto-renewable) that removes ads and provides a cleaner interface. All payments, billing, and subscription management are handled entirely by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Purchase validation is performed on-device using Apple's StoreKit. Your use of subscriptions is also subject to Apple's Standard EULA and our Terms of Use.

5. How Information Is Shared

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by:

• Google AdMob — for advertising, as described above.
• Apple — for subscription processing and App Store services.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

6. Data Retention

Because your task data lives on your device, it remains until you delete it in the App or uninstall the App. Deleting the App removes the locally stored data associated with it. Data processed by Google or Apple is retained according to their respective policies.

7. Your Choices

• Tracking: Allow or deny app tracking in iOS Settings at any time.
• Notifications: Enable or disable reminders in the App's Settings or iOS Settings.
• Your data: Clear completed tasks or delete all tasks from the App's Settings → Data.
• Ads: Subscribe to TaskStreak Pro to remove advertising entirely.

8. Children's Privacy

TaskStreak is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can address it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
