These Terms of Use ("Terms") form an agreement between you and Urvik Moradiya ("we", "us") and govern your use of the svapn iOS application. By installing or using svapn you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
svapn is a private dream-journal and sleep-companion app for iPhone. Core functionality — recording dreams, viewing sleep insights when Apple Health is connected, scheduling alarms — is free. Some features are gated by an optional auto-renewing subscription called svapn Pro.
You must be at least 13 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher. By using svapn you confirm you meet that requirement.
svapn Pro is sold through the Apple App Store as an auto-renewing subscription.
Prices in your local currency are shown in the App at the point of purchase and may vary by region.
Anything you create in svapn — dream entries, voice recordings, AI-generated images — is your content. We do not own it, claim rights over it, or transmit it from your device (except as described in our Privacy Policy). You are responsible for the lawful nature of what you record.
svapn allows you to generate artwork from a dream entry using the OpenAI image-generation API and your own OpenAI API key. By using this feature you agree:

svapn is not a medical device. The sleep insights, smart-alarm timing, dream tagging, and any AI-generated interpretation are informational only and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. If you have concerns about your sleep, mental health, or wellbeing, consult a qualified medical professional. Do not rely on svapn alarms for safety-critical wake-ups — use a dedicated alarm clock as backup.
We may release updates to svapn that add, change, or remove features. We may also update these Terms as the App evolves; the current version will always be available at this URL with the date it took effect. Material changes will be highlighted in-app or via the App Store update notes.
You can stop using svapn and delete the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms (for example, by attempting to defeat subscription enforcement). Termination does not entitle you to a refund of pre-paid subscription periods.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, svapn is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any AI-generated content will meet your expectations.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Urvik Moradiya be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, dreams, recordings, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of svapn. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us through the App Store in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) US$50.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where Urvik Moradiya is resident, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence still apply.
