By installing or using Goldmine ("the app"), you agree to these terms and to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) for apps distributed through the App Store.

The service

Goldmine is an offline-first personal finance tracker for iPhone and iPad. It tracks gold prices, transactions, fixed deposits, SIPs, holdings, alerts, budgets and recurring rules. All data lives on your device. There are no Goldmine servers.

Gold rate data

Goldmine displays gold rates by fetching publicly available city-rate pages (GoodReturns and IIFL). These rates are indicative and may differ from the price you receive at a jeweller or bullion dealer. Goldmine is not a financial advisor and does not provide investment advice. Use the rates for tracking — not for transacting at the displayed price.

Pro purchase terms

Goldmine Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. There is no auto-renewal and no recurring billing. Family Sharing is supported per Apple's standard rules. Pro is currently disabled while we finalise the in-app purchase configuration; the app is free to use in the interim.

Refunds

All purchases and refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your data and backups

You are responsible for your own backups. Goldmine provides an in-app Export feature that produces a .goldmine file with a SHA-256 integrity checksum — you choose where to store it. We strongly recommend exporting periodically and before changing devices. Goldmine cannot recover data from a lost or wiped iPhone.

Acceptable use

Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app.
Do not redistribute the app outside the App Store.
Do not use the app to attempt to harm or overload third-party rate sources.

Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any claim, damages or other liability arising from the use of the app — including, but not limited to, financial losses resulting from reliance on displayed gold rates or projections.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will change. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Surat, Gujarat.
